DERRALOSSARY CHURCHYARD
A Work Party will be held on Saturday 27th July in Derralossary Churchyard from 10:00 to 16:00 to continue the work of maintaining and improving the graveyard in advance of Heritage Week. The information and grave locations stands were installed some months ago and we are engaging with the Tánaiste’s office and Dept of Defence regarding an event on Sunday 17th November which is the 50th anniversary of the death in office of President Erskine Childers. RIVER WALK
East Wicklow Rivers Trust invites you to a walk along the Vartry Reservoir on Tuesday 16th July, 8pm. Start location is at the Upper Reservoir Dam Green Gates on the Newtownmountkennedy Road. The walk will follow the woodland trail that includes the embankment, the route of the old Vartry River and the steep-sided cut that joins the upper and lower reservoirs. ACTIVE RETIRED

Wicklow County Council Mobile Library will be in Roundwood Village on Thursday 18th July 2024 from 10am until 11.15am and also from 2.10pm until 4.30pm. Come along and join the library. It’s a free service and is a fantastic way to pick up any book that suits your reading interests.
