K2ALPACAS MINI CHRISTMAS MARKET

With the uncertainty created by Covid; K2Alapcas are not attending any Christmas Markets this year. Instead K2Alpacas are holding our own Mini Christmas Market on our Alpaca Farm and Stud in County Wicklow. The market will showcase our amazing alpaca fibre products. Some are made exclusively for us in Peru. These include handmade soft toys, slippers and hats made from alpaca fibre, soft luxurious scarves & pashminas. We have a lovely range of socks, duvets, toppers and pillows made from K2Aplacas own flock of alpacas! We have Alpaca Christmas sweatshirts and a range of Alpaca tee shirts. The highlight of the market will be an a ‘live nativity’ alpaca style with Mums their cria (babies) waiting for you to hand feed.  Tea coffee & hot chocolate will also be available. HISTORICAL JOURNAL

The 2020 Roundwood & District Historical & Folklore Society Journal is packed with great articles of local interest. It is now available for sale in the following places; in Roundwood – Keeley’s Hardware, Centra, Keith Grant Butchers, Sugar Mountain Cafe; in Laragh at Mc Coy’s Store and Filling Station; In Newtown at the Post Office and Eugene’s Stores and in Wicklow at Bridge Street Books. It is also journal available to purchase on line, via the website www.roundwoodhistoricalsociety.ie .

Parish of St. Laurence O’Toole, Roundwood and Moneystown – in line with the latest Government guidelines, Mass will be celebrated in our Churches.  There is morning Mass at 10 am on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday in Roundwood Church. And the weekend Masses are Saturday night 6 pm in Roundwood Church, 10 am Sunday morning in Moneystown, and 11.30 am Sunday morning in Roundwood.  Please Note that under the current guidelines,  numbers remain at a maximum of 50 people in attendance.  Masks  are mandatory.  Social Distancing and good  hand and respiratory hygiene must be adhered to.
