Roundwood & District News 19th of January 2021

The Ogham Stone, a fantastic addition to the Vartry Walks, thanks to the gifted hands of the members of the Roundwood Men’s Shed

ROUNDWOOD MEN’S SHED

Best wishes to all the ‘shedders’ and to all readers of these few words. I refuse to use the ‘p’ word or the ‘c’ word, but if anything, the present cloud which is hanging over us all has brought us closer together and made us more aware of the needs of others. One of the shedders was telling me that when he uses his mobile to call a fellow shedder he feels the better of having made the call. As the saying goes ‘it’s in giving that we receive’. We extend sincere sympathy to all who have suffered bereavement at this time.
