TIDY TOWNS
The Tidy Towns competition is back with a bang this year. The hanging baskets are up in the village and it’s looking mighty fine. If you have a bit of time to do some kerbside weeding, litter picking or to put a splash of paint on that wall or fence it would help greatly. Many hands make light work & all that jazz!
Thanks to Graeme Mulvey, the members of the Roundwood Gardening Facebook group and Keeley’s Hardware for adding to the herb patch at the Health Centre. Feel free to pluck some Thyme, Chives, Sage, Oregano, Rosemary, Parsley and Marjoram for your summer salads & BBQ dishes. They are all labelled so you know which is which! Huge thanks also to Carol Ann Curley for answering the artistic call by providing a lovely ‘Community Herb Garden’ sign for the patch.
