BIODIVERSITY PLAN 

A meeting to begin the implementation of the Roundwood Community Action Biodiversity Plan will take place at 7:30pm on Wednesday 9th of April in Roundwood National School. Anyone interested in finding out more information on biodiversity in the area or wishing to get involved in activities to implement the plan are most welcome to attend. SPRING CLEAN 

Roundwood Tidy Towns have registered for the National Spring Clean again this year. Saturday the 5th of April is the day designated to spring clean Roundwood village to ensure the village is looking great for the children making their Confirmations in Roundwood the following week. Please meet at Roundwood Parish Hall at 10:30am armed with a shovel, spade, yard brush, wheelbarrow and any such tools that might come in handy. 

A limited number of litter pickers, HiVis tops and gloves will be available. Please bring your own if you have them. Families with children are especially welcome. For further information please email info@roundwood.ie or call 086 8055040 or 087 2551579. All help will be most welcome.

LOTTO  

Results of the draw held on March 30th. There was no jackpot winner the numbers drawn were, 6, 13, 19 & 24. There were seven match three winners. L.P.L.N Kenna, Margaret Allen, Anne Pierce, Olive Dal, E & V Byrne, Monica Nolan and Patricia Kavanagh. Next week’s jackpot will be €18,100.    

ACTIVE RETIREMENT 

Roundwood Active Retirement Group Next Bingo Sunday 13th April (starting at the later time of 4pm just this one time) Annamoe Community Centre. 2025 membership is now due at €16.

The Roundwood and District Community Council are registered to administer the senior alert scheme which provides grants to elderly people towards the provision of personal alarms through the Senior Alert Scheme. The personal alarm offers reassurance to allow independent living, safe in the knowledge that you can quickly be in contact with a family member or neighbour in the event of an emergency. CANCER SUPPORT  

Roundwood Cancer Support office is open every Monday and Friday from ten to twelve o clock for anyone who needs advice or help when dealing with Cancer.
