Results of the draw held on 13th October. There was no jackpot winner the numbers drawn were, 5, 7, 19 & 24. There were three match three winners. Thomas Gaffney, Joanne Eagers and Frank Dunleavey. Next week’s jackpot will be €11,800.
CONCERT IN CALARY FOR SISTER MARY KILLEEN
Calary Church is delighted to host a concert together with an optional supper in aid of the work being done by Sister Mary Killeen in Mukuru, Nairobi. This has always been a fantastic night and raises very important funding for the street children in Mukuru. The artists performing at the concert this year will be Clare McCague (harp) and Catrina Scullion (soprano) .
Tickets for the concert, which begins at 8 pm, are €20. The additional cost for the supper is €30 per person. The supper will commence at 6 pm. Payment may be by cash or cheque or card at the door. DEMENTIA SUPPORT
Volunteers sought to support a local family in the Roundwood area. Wicklow Dementia Support (WDS) is seeking volunteers
ALZPALS is a befriending service which supports people with dementia who are living at home. We are looking for volunteers to become a friend to someone with Dementia. Volunteers are required to drop in to visit a person with dementia once a week for two hours and give their carer a break.

MEN’S SHED
Roundwood Men’s Shed: The Shed continues to meet every Tuesday in Knockraheenat Pat Carr’s place (A98 AH02) from 10 to 12 a.m. approximately. We care and listen and share over a cuppa or two. Occasionally we break into song and we have a few fine musicians and singers in our ranks. The experts tell us that music is good for the soul and the mental health of all. We do somegentle exercises and recently we have been planting trees along the Vartry Trail. New faces will be very welcome in the Shed. MOBILE LIBRARY
Wicklow County Council Mobile Library will be in Roundwood Village on Thursday24th
October 2024 from 10am until 11.15am and also from 2.10pm until 4.30pm. Come along and join the library. It’s a free service and is a fantastic way to pick up any book that suits your reading interests.
