RIVER WALK

East Wicklow Rivers Trust invites you to a walk along the Vartry Reservoir onTuesday 16th July at 8pm. The walk will follow the woodland trail that includes the embankment, the route of the old Vartry River and the steep-sided cut that joins theupper and lower reservoirs. Derralossary Church Work Party

A Work Party will be held on Saturday 27th July in Derralossary Churchyard from
10:00 to 16:00 to continue the work of maintaining and improving the graveyard in advance of
Heritage Week.  The information and grave locations stands were installed some months ago
and we are engaging with the Tánaiste’s office and Dept of Defence regarding an event on
Sunday 17th November which is the 50th anniversary of the death in office of President Erskine
Childers. Strimmers (with petrol and plenty of cutting line), rakes, a few lawnmowers and the
odd saw will come in handy.

CREATIVE HUB MARKET 

Roundwood Creative Hub Market returns from 11am to 4pm in the parish hall. Eggs, honey, jams, baking, plants, flowers, candles, soaps, waxmelts, bathbombs, knitwear, toys, photography, jewellery,  artificial flower arrangements, ceramics and much more. 

Please support this initiative from local producers and crafters.

CANCER SUPPORT  

Roundwood Cancer Support office is open every Monday and Friday from ten to twelve o clock for anyone who needs advice or help when dealing with Cancer.

MOBILE LIBRARY   

Wicklow County Council Mobile Library will be in Roundwood Village on Thursday 4thJuly 2024 from 10am until 11.15am and also from 2.10pm until 4.30pm. Come along and join the library. It’s a free service and is a fantastic way to pick up any book that suits your reading interests.    

45 CARD GAME  

45 Card Game every Tuesday night in Moneystown Community Centre starting at 8 pm. Teas served. All are welcome.
