Congratulations to all involved in the Baltynanima PURE Mile who, out of 60 entries across Co Wicklow and South Dublin, took the top prize in the 2018 PURE Mile Awards in the Brook Lodge Hotel last night. The residents did Trojan work over a three mile stretch of road including coordinated litter picks, walks and talks &researched local history – all of which is recorded on their website and compiled into a fantastic final report. New permanent interpretative signage was also erected along the route with grant aid from Creative Ireland through Wicklow County Council.
