Roundwood Men’s Shed: Following our most recent series of digital lessons one of our SHEDDERS has decided to take his fully charged mobile with him when he completes the life marathon which we have referred to in the past. The phone will be taken with him to the grave and when he gets to the ‘other side’ he will be able to communicate with the SHEDDERS down on earth and fill them in on the good life up above. “That is not going to happen”, one of the SHED wits commented,” because with the phone melting in the flames, there’ll be no signal coming from where you’re going”. As well as the tea and cake and biscuits, there is regular banter in the SHED at the gatherings on Tuesdays between 10 and 12. You will be assured of a warm welcome if you come along.
