MASS OF REMEMBRANCE
Our Annual Mass of Remembrance – Service of Light will be on Saturday 4th November at 6.00pm. This Mass is for Parishioners who died between 15th September 2016 and 14th September 2017 and whose funerals took place from either Roundwood or Moneystown Church
LOURDES PILGRIMAGE
There will be a pilgrimage to Lourdes from Roundwoodin September, 2018. Names and €200 deposit before 15th January, 2018 to Susan at 087 6273032. A pilgrimage to Knock will be on Divine Mercy Sunday 8thApril, 2018. More on both pilgrimages at a later date.

Well done and thank you to all our dancers who put on a brilliant show on Saturday last, following weeks of hard work and fundraising . You were all amazing! Well done to Anne Marie Morris and Denis Healy who Cha Cha Cha’d their way to First Place. And thank you to the hardworking committee. You should all be very proud of what you achieved, both on-stage and behind the scenes. We’re looking forward to next year already!
JUVENILE HANDBALL TRAINING

SALE OF WORK
After a short break the annual SALE OF WORK is back again this year in Aras An Tochar on December 3rd from 12 – 4pm. All donations for the various stalls will be gratefully accepted and can be left with Maureen in the Parish Office between 9.30 and 1pm.
CEILI DANCING LESSONS
Adult ceili dancing classes are held every Wednesday night in the parish hall from 8 to 9pm. Learn to solo dance and also group dances under the tuition of Aoife, Cian and Eimear and have great fun learning.
MORNING BADMINTON
Tuesday morning badminton is back in full swing from 9.30am – beginners always welcome. Some rackets are available.
HALLOWEEN CANDLE LIGHT WALK
A family fun Halloween Candle light walk will take place on Sunday 29th October at 5.30pm. Registration and Start from Roundwood AFC Clubhouse. Refreshments available, fancy dress essential, €10 per family. This promises to be a fun event so do come along
MATHS LESSONS
Rebecca Delamere will be running Maths classes for Secondary School students in Roundwood Parish Hall. Classes will be available for 1st to 6th year students and are designed to focus on common areas that students struggle with. Guaranteed small class sizes and places are limited. CHRISTMAS CAR BOOT BAZAAR

Roundwood & District Community Council (RDCC) AGM will take place on Monday 13th November 2017 at 8:00pm in Parish Hall, Roundwood. As with all RDCC meetings, attendance is open to all people and we would welcome your attendance at the meeting

A date for your diary! – Roundwood Golf Society – Annual Table Quiz Night In aid of Roundwood Senior Citizens Christmas Party will take place in Kavanagh’s Vartry House on Friday 27th October at 8.30 p.m. Your support will be appreciated. WALKING CLUB
The Roundwood Whizzers Walking Group are back in action every Wednesday evening meeting at 7pm at the Coach House car park. Everyone welcome to walk at your own pace for approximately 1 hour in and around Roundwood village

IRISH MUSIC CLASSES
Learn traditional Irish music and dance with an award-winning Comhaltas branch (guitar, fiddle, flute, tin whistle and grúpa ceoil). Classes are held at 7 pm on Tuesday nights in St. Laurence O’Toole N.S., Roundwood – the first term is from September to January while the second term is from January to May. MENS SHED
Roundwood and District Men’s Shed: By the time you read this we may have gone fishing. We have been kindly invited by Brian Nally for a tuition session in fly fishing at his fish farm in Annamoe. So with the help of the long range weather forecasters we are planning to go fishing on a dry day so we don’t get as wet as the fish in the water. Our usual activities of gardening, woodworking, repairing, storytelling and tae drinking continue on Tuesdays from 10 a.m. onwards.
